Jennifer Love Hewitt

Worn famously by Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Selena Gomez, Kesha, Paula Abdul, the list goes on and on....Ever priced up Feather Hair Extensions?? If so you've found out for 2-3 feathers you would be paying on average $65 in a salon.
Today Ill tell you how to create this look at the minimal of prices......

Firstly, Always make sure you do your homework with the quality of feather you are buying. Don't take the provider for there word, "hair feathers" can range from 1 inch to 10 inch's so always ask the approximate length and also make sure it is 100% NATURAL feather.

I offer this service and I have purchased LOTS of feathers and have been disappointed with the majority of them, the only provider i buy feathers from is Hair flairs. I am not affiliated in any way, if anyone has any other hair feather suppliers and have had success let me know :)

Products needed:
  1. 2-3 Hair Feathers
  2. Hook - Designed for the micro rings
  3. Micro rings (similar color to your hair)
  4. Sectioning clip
  5. Pliers

The how to:
  1. Section the area of hair you want to apply the feather hair extensions, I would pick an area about a inch away from the hairline - I do this because i want the micro ring to be covered but still be close enough to the surface to be able to show off the feather.
  2. Grab your hook with the micro ring. Hook enough hair so the weight of the feather is not going to pull your hair causing breakage or worse a bald spot! Pull the hair through the hook.
  3. Grab your single or grouped feathers and place the tip inside the micro ring with your hair.
  4. Grab your pliers and squeeze the micro ring tightly, the silicone interior will protect your hair.
  5. Remove the sectioning clip, see if the placement is correct. If not, remove the micro ring by squeezing the micro ring with the pliers the opposite way to release.
  6. keep on following the procedure 1-4 until you are happy and comfortable

Saves lots, looks awesome.

Believe it or not you can shampoo, condition, straighten, curl....literally anything you do with your own hair you can do with 100% natural feathers.
I recommend keeping the feather in for 6 weeks and then re tighten the micro ring.

Any questions let me know :)
