Guide to the Perfect Eyebrow

Guide to the Perfect Eyebrow

Ever noticed how perfect celebrities look? How groomed and natural they look?

Dare we all say “YES”!

Believe it or not Eyebrows have a lot to do with the strength or our makeup and can be the difference between an “ok” makeup look to a Celebrity Makeup look.

In today’s blog I will show you how to fill and shape your eyebrow.

 Products needed:

·         Matte Eyeshadow (choose a color slightly lighter than your hair color)

·         Eyebrow Pencil

·         Concealer

·         Tweezers

Step by Step guide

1.       First Cleanse and Moisturize your skin.

2.       Take a long look in the mirror. Firstly and most importantly do not ruin your natural shape of your brow, do not take too much brow hair away (you will regret it). All I want you to do is tweeze the unruly hair.

3.       Take your Matte eyeshadow – Make sure the eyeshadow is matte as any shimmery color is going to make you look like a shiny disco ballJ. Take a small angle brush, like the MAC # 208 Angled brow brush. Place the brush in the eyeshadow and apply onto your brow.

4.       Look at this diagram; imagine a line running up the side of the bridge of your nose - where this line falls on your brow bone is where your eyebrow will start. From the bottom of that same bridge line, imagine another line going diagonally upwards which passes along the outer rim of your pupil - where this line falls on your brow bone is where the highest point of your eyebrow will be. Imagine one more line starting from the same place passing through the outer corner of your eye - where this line falls on your brow bone is where your eyebrow should end.

5.       If you find yourself in trouble or you get the “furry” effect. Grad your handy concealer and a strong flat brush, dip the flat brush into the concealer and clean the eyebrow line with a swift brush stroke.  Do not apply too much concealer or you will need to start again.
6.   Also for a more flawless effect I would then take my eyebrow pencil and strengthen the arch. (Always strengthen the brow from the bottom of the eyebrow - between the eyelid and the eyebrow)

Remember

You always want to look like there your brows not a tattoo transfer
